The Killing Fields

killer tractorIowa – How long has American corn been subjugated to death row? It’s safe to say that corn on the American continent has fallen prey to human brutality since the early inhabitants began imprisoning maize.

In 2002, almost 10 billion bushels of corn were grown on farms in the USA. Do you know how many innocent ears were slaughtered as a result?

A lot.

Sure, you may be saying to yourself “so what” (you callous pig), but stop for a moment and think about just one of those ears of corn. Put yourself on it’s stalk, so to speak, and imagine what it would be like to be ripped from your home, stripped, maybe shaved, even creamed, and ultimately eaten.

Yes, tragedy happens every day in rural America. More killing takes place on the Great Plains than all of the metro areas combined. Billions are tortured and killed every year. If you love freedom and mercy please, PLEASE stop eating vegetables.

You forget to mention that 70% or higher of that corn is used to feed livestock that you will eventually eat. You might mention that the cows would eat that much anyway, but the fact is that those cattle wouldn’t be alive if you hadn’t bred them to eat in the first place.

Are you stating that you believe a cows purpose in life is only to be eaten? And this world would be a better place if the Cattle did not exist? Some people are just plain sick.

Not to mention the imaginary Cattle Rancher you are talking to…

You rock! I found this website after having been cussed out by a self-righteous vegan yet again! They are undoubtedly Vitamin B12, Iron, and Folic Acid deprived and it is causing some kind of hormonal imbalance due to the unnatural dietary restrictions. I am so glad that someone has called attention to the sad, sad phenomenon of plant killing. Animals can defend themselves. What about the helpless plant? Legumes are discriminated against on a daily basis just because they are born without a face or vocal cords with which to protest. I say, don’t be a hypocrite. All things must die so that humans can live. Abjection is based on the fear of death. The vegan finds meat abject because it reminds them of their eventual death. Vegans, you are still going to die like the rest of us. You might as well die with the fabulous taste of bacon lingering on your tongue. BTW-the longest lived people on the plant live in Okinawa. They routinely live to be 110+. They at lots & lots of vegies & carbs; however, they also eat fish and pork. In the wise words of the double-rainbow guy, “What does this mean?”
