Mushroom Amputation

Even though these mushrooms aren’t technically in the plant kingdom they still qualify for protection from heinous crimes such as being committed in this photo. This picture reminds me of something out of Silence of the Lambs only it could be retitled Screaming of the Shrooms.
This image was particularly disturbing to me, considering I am a dedicated fan to the Lord of the Rings series. Mushrooms played a key role in the Fellowship of the Ring, when Frodo and his young Hobit friends of the Shire, discover a lonely patch of abandoned Mushrooms. Without this scene, Sauron would’ve never been defeated! With the faith and encouragement of the glorifying mushrooms, the Shire and all who inhabit it were SAVED!
