Yes, this once was a potato. Potatoes get smashed by hammers in our culture waaaaaaaaaaaay too often. The smashing must stop!!!

   by the way, i had mashed potatoes last night. and they were good. i mashed them very hard. then i poured salt ALL over their wound. and then whisked it around. then i poured scalding gravy all over it. then ate it. WAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHHA.
